User's Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Terms
Overview of our Services
To ensure the quality of the C3 experience we have set up our terms of service for our mutual benefit. If you violate these rules, it will mean you've broken the terms of service and this may result in a termination of your account.
For your safety, we require written confirmation on all purchases over $200. This means, for example, if you need your C3 VA to purchase concert tickets for over $200 they will first have to email you a summary of the purchase. Once your C3 VA receives your written confirmation of this summary, you’re good to go and the purchase can be made.
Tasks and concierge requests are non-transferable. You cannot sell or give away tasks on your plan but you are more than free to buy a plan for your colleague, family, business partner, etc. Any plans or hourly rates purchased from C3 can be used by one client only. Your C3 account is also non-transferable. That means if one person signs up, you cannot transfer ownership of that account to another person.
After the point which C3 services are contracted and begin, all means of communication, such as phone, text, Skype, phone calls, etc., are considered as billable correspondence and will be included on any invoices as such. Please note that there is a minimum charge of 15 minutes.
Requests & Tasks
Each request (task) must be submitted by phone, email or SMS. The turnaround time for task completion is typically within 48 hours but may be longer based upon the complexity of the requested task, however, we do ensure you that we will provide the fastest possible service. If you ever feel like your service could be better, you can contact us by telephone or email us at email@example.com. For a list of example tasks that we do, please consult our "services" web page. That should give you a good idea of what we're able to accomplish and what we simply cannot do. Agreeing to these terms of service means you understand and agree to keep your tasks within the scope of our business.
Ownership and Confidentiality of Work Product
If a C3 Assistant creates anything original for you, such as research projects, reports, templates, spreadsheets, forms, websites, etc. ("Work Product"), C3 grants to you a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-transferable license to use the Work Product for your own personal and commercial purposes.
As used in these Terms of Service, your confidential information means non-public information that you provide to C3 or a C3 Assistant that you reasonably expect C3 to withhold, including your personal information (i.e., your name, your social security number, your credit card information, and similar information), but does not include information that (1) becomes generally available to the public other than an unauthorized disclosure by C3 or a C3 Assistant; (2) was or becomes available to C3 or a C3 Assistant on a non-confidential basis prior to your disclosure of the information to C3 or a C3 Assistant; (3) is independently developed by C3 or a C3 Assistant without using your confidential information; or (4) information we are required to disclose by a warrant, subpoena or other request in an investigation or legal proceeding or where disclosure is necessary to protect C3's rights or property, or the rights or property of C3 Assistants or our other clients.
As used in these Terms of Service, your intellectual property means patents, trademarks and copyrights owned by you and any insights, knowledge, and ideas provided by you in connection with creation of the Work Product.
Guarantee & Warranty
There is no warranty on any of the information, tasks, or projects your C3 Assistant completes for you. We strive to provide the most accurate, most effective information available and we know C3 Assistants do this better than anyone else. We will not be held liable for any information or results that are incorrect or inaccurate.
C3 does not take responsibility for any information, files or data that may be lost or altered when using shared programs, such as Dropbox or Google Drive, or any programs for which you have provided login information for (ex. Facebook business page).
Your contract with C3 can be canceled at any time with no additional fees or hassle, however, please note that you will not be refunded for unsused hours that have been pre-paid and you are obliged to pay any outstanding invoices and/or expenses that are due to C3.
Termination of Service
We reserve the right to terminate the service of a C3 client at any time for any number of reasons including but not limited to the following:
If the client is constantly requesting tasks outside the scope of their service plan and we're unable to find a solution by scaling back the requests
If C3 does not feel comfortable managing the requested tasks.
If the client is abusive to his/her assistant or any other C3 team member

What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
To personalize your experience (your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs).
To improve our website (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you).
To improve customer service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs).
To process transactions your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.
To send periodic emails, the email address you provide for order processing will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
No. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties, your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.

We support the sharing of credit cards, passwords and other sensitive data when you work with a dedicated C3 Assistant through our partnership with LastPass. Using LastPass' advanced encryption technology and cloud-based data storage, your assistant is able to securely store your sensitive data and use it to access an account, make a purchase, or contact a third party on your behalf.
Getting Set Up
Call your C3 Assistant to share credit card information, passwords, and other sensitive data, to have your C3VA collect your information over the phone. This way, we can ensure your information remains safe.

How it Works
Secure access - Your C3 VA will only access your sensitive data when you send in a request that requires it, such as credit card purchases or logging into an online account.
